Vegas Baby!!!!

We have never taken a family vacation before, so we decided it was time. We got great flights out of Idaho Falls and after a little planning, we were off!! Our friends the Jenkins fam met us there for one day and we had a blast with them. Thanks guys!! We had so much fun, the girls loved all the lights, the swimming, the MGM lions, the chocolate factory. . . One of our favorite things we did was the tournament of kings. It was a dinner show about King Arthur and the knights of the round table. We ate a chicken dinner with our hands, no utinsels allowed!! Plus Vegas has GREAT shopping. We visited the wax museum and of course ate tons of yummy food. We have sooooo many pics so I'll post more later too.

Let the blogging begin!

My pics are finally on my computer and now I can blog!! We traded our broken down loader thing, so here we go. First I'll start with the girls birthdays. Emma turned 5 on Valentines Day and Eliza turned 3 on March 14th. They are EXACTLY 25 months apart. I mean to the hour. For Emma"s birthday we went bowling and had cake and ice cream. For Eliza's we went to a matinee and had cake and ice cream. We kept their birthdays simple this year and I loved it.

Well. I've figured it out!! It's not me. I thought I was just technologically illiterate, but Seth worked on it last night and the little thingy that puts the pics on the computer is broken. Now I have to go to Walmart and get all my pictures on disc, then put them on my computer and then I can finally blog!! Then sometime next week I have to go to Best Buy and exchange my thingy (I know, I'm really up on computer lingo!!). Anyway there will be pictures soon. I have so much to catch up on. On a side note, I ordered a comforter set. It should be here soon!! Now my next mission is pea soup colored green sheets!!

Random. . . .

I know, it's been forever!!! I don't know how to download pics from my new camera!!! Anyway I need some help. I am changing my room colors. It just so happens that the colors and bedding I want match the wallpaper on this blog. I know what I want, I just can't find it!! They used to have it at wal-mart. Now it's gone online and in all the stores in Idaho and Utah!! Yes I called almost every one:) If you know where I could find one please let me know. It's called Springmaid Lynnwood queen comforter set. Or one really similar would be great. I have looked all over the internet. Not even on Ebay. It's sold out everwhere.
Oh on a happier (and warmer!!) note, we are leaving for Vegas tomorrow for 5 days!!! We are flying and staying at the Excalibur. Emma and Eliza are sooooo excited to sleep in a castle and to see Caleb and Trevor. I am looking forward to some sunshine. It felt like the middle of January today here. I will post pics when I get back. Yes, I really will!!

6 Random Things . . . .

Ok Aubs, This is for you. Six random things about me . . . . .
1. I love summer!!! I love to be outside when it's warm. I love the feel of the sun on my (pasty!!) skin.
2. I have about a ten dream jobs. I love being a mom but if I wasn't these are some of the things I would want to be when I grow up. An interior designer, I always have about a million design plans in my head at a time. A chef, I love to cook and bake and am always looking for new recipes. I would love to own a children's clothing store that sells funky and adorable kids clothes. I singer, I know funny huh?!! The girls and I are belting out tunes all day long. And yes I can carry a tune, I took voice lessons for quite awhile. Right now we are loving Jason Mraz and Alicia Keys. I would love to be a stylist and colorist at the Redken Exchange in New York. I absolutely love doing color and this would be the ultimate!!!! And doing girls cuts are my fav!! I have about five more but maybe I'll save those for another time.
3. I love to Run!!! I can go for miles and miles and I love the feeling of just having one thing on my mind, GO!!!!
4. I'm really crappy at getting the laundry folded. I can wash and dry like a pro, and I never shrink things but the folding thing is really annoying to me. It really bugs Seth.
5. I am so in love with my husband. He is my best friend and I truly love being married!!! We have so much fun together whether we are sitting on the couch watching t.v. or out on a date. I just love being around him!!
6. And finally, my babies. I love Emma and Eliza soooooooooooooooooooooooooo much!!! They are my whole world. I can't ever remember not having them. They are truly the best girls and the best thing to happen to Seth and me. They make me want to be a better person. This is what I want meant to do, be a mom. They are my everthing and make me so happy!!!

Good News!!!!

No, I am NOT pregnant!! I bought a new camera yesterday. I can blog again!!! It's a Panasonic, I think I'm gonna love it. Keep checking in for new pics. Emma's birthday is on Valentines Day so it will get a real test run!
